Liverpool in BIG TROUBLE as they come up against Real Madrid?

‘I couldn’t think of a Liverpool player who performed well against QPR’.

Jamie Carragher is unimpressed! Are you?

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has recently taken a swipe it his own beloved club by suggesting the performances of all the team were not up to standard against QPR.

“Liverpool were awful,” Carragher reflected. “Even when they were winning 1-0 I was thinking ‘who is going to be man of the match? Who has done well?’

“I couldn’t think of a Liverpool player who performed well. I thought Simon Mignolet made a couple of very good saves but he’s also conceded a couple of goals; he could have done better with the last one.

“I can’t think of a single Liverpool player who can be really pleased with his performance. They were very poor and as Stevie [Gerrard] said afterwards, they were very lucky.

“But at times you get that in a season; the flip side to that is you can play well and be unlucky.

“The problem is that Liverpool have probably only played well in one game this season and that’s the big worry.

“In the first half Liverpool looked like QPR have performed in away games – there was a lack of intensity.  They were bullied – they couldn’t cope with an old-fashioned 4-4-2.”

Not ready for Real Madrid?

It could possibly be the worse time for Liverpool to face off against the Champions League holders with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric and JamesRodriguez ready to step on the field at Anfield. Liverpool fans will be happy to discover that Wales starlet Gareth Bale is not available for selection!

Real Madrid star Di Maria wants to join LVG’s Man Utd

According to The Daily Star on Sunday Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria WANTS to join Manchester United.

Having recently purchasing James Rodriguez Man United know that Di Maria is up for grabs at Real Madrid’s £45m asking price BUT Louis Van Gaal is unsure on whether to move for the Argentina star.

Paris St Germain are also on full alert but they are unhappy with Di Maria’s supposed interest in moving to Manchester.

United won’t quibble over Real’s fee as Van Gaal has enough funds at his disposal to negotiate a straight cash deal. On the other hand Louis Van Gaal is currently reviewing his squad on the USA tour. Wilfried Zaha has yet to feature and Nani has not really stood out in the two games he’s featured in. Ashley Young played well against L.A Galaxy notching up 2 goals and an assist, while Antonio Valencia looks certain to be in Van Gaal’s plans.

Cristiano Ronaldo could quit Real Madrid soon

Cristiano Ronaldo has been a vital player for Real Madrid since he moved to the Spanish giants and he has improved year upon year. But is his time at the Galaticos coming to an end?

c ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo’s main goal at the Santiago Bernabeu has been to win the Champions League for the second time and his dream may come true soon as Real Madrid face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League final on Sunday 24th May 2014.  Ronaldo has considered this game to be a “50/50” encounter, however Real Madrid truly have a great chance to get their  first Champions League trophy since 2002. They truly can’t afford to let this chance slip up with the pressure from their fans and the board.

However if Ronaldo does win this competition with Real Madrid we could potentially see the end of his stay in La Liga amid interest from French giants PSG and Monaco who have the funds to tempt the Portuguese star away. Cristiano Ronaldo has became visibly frustrated during this season  because of the way of new signing Gareth Bale has seemed to get in his way by taking free-kicks and by occupying his  favored positions when the two are on the pitch. This may be another factor that influences his future plans.

In addition Ronaldo has spoke upon his desire to return to Manchester United one day and a Champions League win may be a suitable time to make his exit. Ronaldo moved to Real Madrid from Manchester Utd in 2009 for a record fee of £80 million but he still has an intimate relationship with the majority of Man United fans who adore him. We, ourselves see Ronaldo wanting to stay at least another year before deciding to move on, however weirder things have happened and we will be following this story very closely.
