3 Great Football Markets to BET on

Why are some betting markets better to bet on? You can make far more money than you are currently making by betting on the right markets. Sometimes, as a punter, you do not realize the amazing potential to make profits from some football markets. Why is this so? Probably because you are focused only on a limited number of football markets. At Clever Bets, our aim is to help you make as much profit as you can so we will be telling you about three amazing profitable markets to bet on.

Both Teams To Score

This market is an exciting one as it allows you to select and stake money on matches where you expect both teams to score a goal. With this market, the eventual winner is irrelevant, just as long as both teams find the back of the net. Here is a tip for placing bets on this market. Look at the stats! Manchester City have a scored many goals this season, however they have simply conceded too many goals on the road. Away at Blackburn, Man City were huge favorites but an on-form Blackburn side managed to surprisingly upset City and get a 1 – 1 draw out of the game. Betting on both teams would have been a clever bet – no pun intended.

Total Team Goals
Predicting the total number of goals scored in a match is sometimes safer than predicting an outright winner. This market is also a much more profitable one than betting on who will win a game or who will score the goals. If a team is in scoring form but are likely to also concede a couple of goals then the market of ‘Over 1.5 team goals’ can be a great market to bet on.

Asian Handicap Markets

Asian handicap markets involve betting on a team having a goal head-start or deficit before the game begins. An example could be Manchester City at home to Norwich City. You can bet on Manchester City to have a -2.5 handicap which means that City would need to win the game by three goals to secure your winnings. Why bet on this market? Because it is a smart way of securing better odds. A typical City versus Norwich game will see City have a very short price which means less profit and Norwich having a long price which means more profit at a very high risk. To get better prices, playing the Asian handicap markets is the way to go.

We are Clever Bets – Helping you make good profits is our goal and investing in these markets should help you do just that!

3 Reasons Why Solskjær will Succeed At Cardiff

Ole Gunnar Solskjær has surprisingly made the move to Cardiff City from Molde. Surprisingly because given Vincent Tan’s treatment of Malky Mackay, it was expected that finding a new manager was going to be tougher than finding a Chelsea striker that scores goals. Despite the naysayers, Solskjær may succeed here are three reasons why:

Ole is a champion

As a player and now as a manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjær has been a champion. Most famous for his last minute goal in the ’99 Champions League final. Ole has began his managerial career with a flourish as he secured back to back league titles with Molde as well as a Norwegian Cup triumph. Ole has a winning mentality about him and could do well to impart that on this Cardiff City side looking for inspiration. Former Man United striker Fraizer Campbell will relish linking up again with his former Man United teammate/coach.

Tan could be a misunderstood man

Ole’s first words as Cardiff boss were in defense of owner Vincent Tan. Presumably, Tan is not the eccentric man we all think he is and instead, the Malaysian simply wants some success at the club. If that is true, then the pair can iron out a working relationship that helps the club enjoy stability after the rocky tenure of Malky Mackay. Besides, Tan probably knows he is no longer popular with the fans and will want to stop being seen as the villain.

Ole had a great education

Playing for years under Sir Alex Ferguson, Ole must have picked up a few tricks. His three titles in three years as Molde boss also prove that the former striker had a great education. His continued friendship with Sir Alex ensures that Ole will have a mentor he can reach out to at all times for some great tips, just like you can with Clever Bets.

We can look forward to a long successful reign for Mr Solskjær in England, as long as Mr Tan realizes the team will need investment and that his new employee will need time.

Januzaj, Coutinho and Barkley: Three more reasons to enjoy the Premier League.

You see them step on the pitch for the first time. Whilst their mates are learning the ropes, they are ready to step up and take their chance. Instinctively, you know some the young players are very different from the others. That, boys and girls, is how we feel when we spot a wonder-kid.

Have we felt same this season in the Premier League? Absolutely. Three young lads have stood out like Tom Cleverley would in the Brazil squad.

Adnan Januzaj

Blessed with the grace of George Best, Januzaj seems destined to take his place in the list of United’s great No 7’s. Grabbing his chance when handed his first start against Sunderland, the attacking midfielder scored an amazing brace to hand his club all three points. Januzaj keeps reminding Old Trafford faithful of a young Cristiano Ronaldo and halfway into the season, the question is not if he can live up to the Real Madrid maestro, it is if he can surpass him.

Phillipe Coutinho

p coutinho
After many false starts at Inter Milan and Espanyol, Coutinho has found his feet at Anfield. His vision and quick feet make him a brilliant accomplice to the Luis Suarez act and while not chewing off defenders like the Uruguayan, he has steadily remained a defender’s nightmare.

Ross Barkley

It will be increasingly difficult for Ross Barkley, as he comes through the ranks at Everton, not be compared to Wayne Rooney. The two simply have too much in common. Just like Rooney, Barkley is punching above his weight and taking on defenders like a veteran. Just like Rooney, Barkley has nicked a few stunning goals in his debut season and just as Rooney once did, Barkley is looking like the future for England. The similarities are not endless though as Barkley does not look like he will ever need a hair transplant!

Januzaj, Coutinho and Barkley have so far given fans more reasons to enjoy the Premier League. Every football fan hopes these three continue to thrill and on the evidence of their talent, the chances that they will fade away are as slim as John Terry’s chances of getting handshake from Wayne Bridge!
